VCFS Fall Favourites
Fall is a season of change, coziness, and preparation for the cold winter months ahead. This is also true at VCFS, as Fall has been a season of exciting change and productivity across all of our portfolios. Our models and photographers have been taking advantage of beautiful fall weather and scenery for photo shoots (check them out on our social media soon!) While dancers, choreographers, and musicians begin to rehearse and refine their talents all in preparation for our show in March.
Although it is one of our busiest seasons, it is safe to say that Fall is pretty popular amongst the cast and crew. So other than staging shoots, curating Instagram content, or rehearsing new choreo, what are VCFS members up to this Fall? We spoke to the cast and crew about things they’ve been loving most this season - read on for skin care recommendations, closet must haves, and the best spot on campus to get your pumpkin spice latte.

“I have been loving the “Caudalíe Vinosource-Hydra Serum ''. As someone who struggles heavily with dry skin and flaking, this has been a lifesaver and quite frankly the only thing that has been helping! This is especially good for the colder months as it gets dryer”.

“I love the Clinique “melt the day away” balm. It is a great way to remove your makeup without damaging and drying out your skin. It also works wonders on waterproof mascara!”

Besides being super soft and perfectly oversized, it doesn't hurt that Timothee Chalamet also has one. “Fall is the perfect time to curl up with a mug of your favourite hot beverage and get cozy. My current favourites include chai, cinnamon, and cardamom tea (my go-to brand is Tazo or Celestial) and hot apple cider with cinnamon (I recently tried this at Geneva Crepe Bistro and it tastes like a hug in a mug!). I love wrapping myself in lots of blankets after a long day with my cup of tea and a good book. It's the perfect way to unwind after catching a chill outside, or after a long day of classes!”
